Holiday Stuffing Inspirations
I don't know about you, but I have no self control over the holidays. It started when we were in Mexico (margaritas and cervazas), then I was in Montreal (warm croissants!), then my birthday (dinner at my fave french restaurant), and well then Christmas! So you can imagine, my jeans are a bit snug...Ok they're tight goddammit! So until I start seeing results from the Pilates/Yoga membership M got me for Christmas (honestly the best present ever!), I need ideas on layering until I shed those extra pounds! These ladies certainly don't need to shed any pounds, but their layering looks fantastic.

Voila! A Simple Turban
The other day I was looking for a square scarf to do the DIY I saw on The Man Repeller. I could not find one but I did re-find this circle scarf I bought a few months back for $1 at Wal-Mart! I haven't worn it as a scarf yet (I find it a bit too skinny and I like my scarves full and chunky) anyways I decided to play around with wrapping it around my noggin - Voila - A Turban!
Only one step: just take a circle scarf and start wrapping a twisting the fabric around your head until you can`t wrap it anymore - adjust accordingly. Every time I wrap it around my head it turns out a bit different. Pretty simple and if you live in the cold this definitely keeps your head warm :)

Fringe Me
Yesterday I was not feeling well - actually it was Friday night that I felt like shit and ended sleeping for 14hrs. Apparently I needed it cause I feel much better today. Anyways I did venture out yesterday afternoon to pick up some laundry detergent and Egg Nog and had the sudden inspiration to walk into a salon and get my fringe cut. Kinda random! It's definitely been quite some time since I've had a fringe - but I needed a change.

There is no place like home
M and I just returned home for our amazing 2 week holiday in Mexico. The sun and sand felt amazing! We traveled around to several different towns; Sayulita, San Pancho, Chacala, Punta de Mita, Puerto Vallarta and Yalapa! Wow looking at this it seems like we did a lot! I have to admit though as much as I love traveling - I love coming home. Is that weird? It's true what Dorothy said 'There is no place like home' :)
